Non-objective meditation.

Withdrawing all thoughts from sense objects one should remain fixed in steady non-objective inquiry.——- Maharishi Ramana.

Comments; Maharishi Ramana was a great sage of 20th century. He remained in Samadhi most of his life period. In my life, his words are a lighthouse. while practising meditation, I take care of his teachings. he gave us his own experience. because this experience is very rare in our life. we can say this is the touch of the divine in human life. so for the seekers of truth or bliss, these words will be very helpful.

withdraw all thoughts from sense objects one should remain fixed in steady non-objective inquiry; Our real nature is bliss or God nature. but on this clear sky, there remain clouds of thoughts. our work is only to remove clouds of thoughts. by Nam-Japa or witnessing, we remove our thoughts, bliss is already there. and it is not very easy because we have feed too much too much in our mind, our mind is occupied with too many thoughts. by our traditions, religions, education, some ideas, he is my friend, he is my enemy so we find it difficult but for mediation, we want a fresh mind like a dewdrop.

that is why every religion gave instructions to control our kamnas Vassnas meaning our too much demands, greed, lust. anger etc. then meditation will be easy to practice. after doing more and more we will be able to understand the beauty of it. when our mind will get the skill to rest in the self our life will be the journey towards calmness, silence, which is our real destination. everybody wants to find the peace which has lies in our heart.
