Self-inquiry.

Question no 4; When will the realization of self be gained?

Answer by Maharishi Ramana; When the world which is seen has been removed, there will be realization of the witch is seen.

that is answer of Maharishi Ramana that thoughts are seen bacuse you can see your thought and you you are seer or observer.

Comment; The problem is on our mind. This is a main factor between our intellectual knowledge and meditation. In other knowledge we have to gain more words as in our every learning, it may be school or other any other part of education, as history, science, any skill but in meditation we deleat the mind by observing our thoughts. By observation the very root of our mind, thoughts starts to slow down and when you will do more and more thoughts will become very little. For eternal bliss we have to empty our minds. As maharishi told us ‘what is seen’ we can see our thoughts. In the language of Vadanta what is seen as we can see our body, mind, senses they comes into seen but you are watcher of this body mind. In practice, we observe our mind, by this method as we say self-inquiry when thoughts becomes very slower than we have the experience of bliss.

In meditation, we have to practice watching our mind. when we look inside on the thoughts , they become slow down and from these gaps, we have the experience of bliss. our knowledge is based on our memory, this memory we learned from outside as from school, university, this knowledge comes from outside from books, or teachers. but this knowledge is beyond the mind.
