Comment; According Vadanta self or Atman meaning OBSERVER. Our self is the observer who observes our mind and body activities. You can understand in your own experience that who observe in you, it watches everytime to your mind. You say first I was going to office or anywhere but now my mind has changed I will go to the market place. The meaning of this that something is changeable in you, but who looks to change it never changes. In you this observer is real self or God. But your body and mind changes. The body was very little when you born, then childhood comes, youth, and it becomes old and dies one day. But observer remains same whole life. This is definitely of Vadanta. We have to understand this discrimination that ‘I AM’ observer and which I can observe as body, mind which are changeable ‘ I am not that. It is part of nature (Parkriti}. It is not me. This means, of Maharishi Ramana. He said ego-self appears and disappears, but ‘I ‘ which is self remains permanent.
When I read the Bhagwat Gita from Saint Nikka Singh ji. It has been in the 13th Chapter of Bhagwat Gita. He used to tell us that confirm it that you are not body you are not mind but OBSERVER (Shaksi).This they gave their followers as their destination and they told to do the practice of meditation .
