Seek the self by meditation in this manner.Trace every thought to its origin.Never allow to run on.If you do it would be unending take it back to its starting place and mind would die of inaction. Go back to the question, “who am I”? ——- Maharishi Ramana.
Comments; Maharishi Ramana was a great yogi in this age. I gave his teachings because it is not Vads which has written so many centuries ago and their meaning are not clear so much people mixed in these books. Maharishi Ramana born in 1878 and died in 1949. He never read any spiritual book ad had no Guru. But by grace of the lord he got self-realization and that method he told his followers. I am doing for forty years his method and I can say without any hesitation that this way can show you the real path.
Maharishi Ramana told us that in the practice of meditation trace the source of every thought. Do not allow thoughts to run on. If you will do it unending, then your mind will have the strength to stay in the self. When your thoughts will start you have to question yourself, ” To whom these thoughts arising?” and your answer will be,” To me” then you will inquire ,” who am I” ? And by this method your mind will be able to develop the skill of meditation. In stillness of mind you will find eternal peace which is endless, bliss. According to Indian Saints this is our destination.
